So I have neglected my blog as I have been soooooooooo busy enjoying my new job and my gorgeous family!

A great wedding expo where we had the opportunity to demonstrate our skills and give brides a few tips for wedding day hair and airbrushed make-up. Great convertible dress demonstration also with Von's Gorgeous Gowns.

We had an amazing day at Concordia Function Centre located with in Concordia Highschool. The girls let me take some fun pictures of hair and airbrushed make-up in the gorunds.Stunning dressing from the always professional Spurling Bridal and Formal wear.

My Exciting New Adventure

Most people know about me is that I don't sit still! I love to learn, to create, to expand, to teach and always thinking ahead for that next innovation. My husband always says to me TURN YOUR BRAIN OFF!

After being in business for 9 years it is a little hard to switch off!

Some people may know that I sold the salon to some lovely people based in Brisbane in October 2012 and at the same time we found out we were pregnant. We wanted to have another baby but I didn't want the stress of running a salon with my second child. I wanted to spend more time with my children. I have two beautiful girls Adison (now 4years) and Peyton (now 11 months).

Peyton is about to turn 1 and I am about to start a new exciting chapter. To do so I am sadly leaving my dear friends Hannah, Marley and Emma at Urban Hi-Lights to enter a new chapter. These girls are always going to be my friends but after 15 years at the salon I need a new challenge for myself.

I will be assisting the girls at Urban Hi-Lights with any bridal bookings remaining for this year so my brides are looked after and their wedding day is not disrupted. If any brides have any questions you can call the salon directly on 0746331000 or my mobile directly on 0407122735.

High Tea Fashion Parade in Brisbane

Marley Hammond and I went to Brisbane to do Hair and Make-up for this wonderful event in Brisbane to raise money for disadvantaged children. I was able to do all the hair and Marley and another make-up artist did the girls make-up.
