What a lovely and friendly bunch of people and had a great time with some enthusiastic ladies!
The class I held was 10 Styles from Work Day to Run Way. Laneway Learning have a great concept for you to take a class for only $12 and have such a broad variety of classes coming up from Drawing to cooking to hair! The classes are only and 1 1/4 hours long and packed full of info and fun! Held in the cute Bean cafe in a lane in the Brisbane CBD near the casino.
I promised the lovely ladies in the class that I would post our styles for everyone to refer to with some tips! Also helpful for those of you who missed the class to try yourself at home! The ladies to lots of pictures and videos so I hope this is helpful for you!
During our class I explained how people can RECYCLE your hairstyle to something new the following day. If your hair every second day you can have great upstyles everyday of the week. Using dry shampoo can help give body as well as some other great products like Big Sexy Hair Play. (Keep an eye out for my favorite products and 10 tips for upstyling which was given during the class)
The descriptions are all in bullet point but during our class were able to talk more in detail. If you would be interested in more classes email me through my web site at www.sarahcourtneyhairartist.com
Style 1

- twist and pin
- all that is left is small pony section, twist and push pieces to pin randomly pushing into hair to hide pins
Style 2

Take hair out from previous style and tie in small pony to sleep on the recycle or keep most of style in removing excess pins
- your two front sections can be braided and pinned under top panel

- re-do the messy bun
Style 3
washed hair
- take a triangle section at the top of the head
- you can do a high ponytail or a side ponytail
- back comb front the front and spray in at the roots for more height
- curl the sections of the ponytail using hairspray on each section. The smaller the section the small the curl .
- use one piece to wrap around hair tie to hide
- smooth down top section and if long enough wrap ends around ponytail
- if your hair doesn't hold curl as well, curl small sections and can brush out to make bigger curl. This will help get more hold
Style 4
recycled style
you can use your "powder play" to give more body after sleeping on previous days style
- reuse back combing using fingers

- curl using hot tongs or straightening irons (more you tube clips to come in the future)
Style 8
recycled style
this style can have a good brush before to take large vertical sections to curl with hot tongs or straightening irons. You could also use a triple barrel hot tong
- section two diagonal sections starting 4cm from the front of your head angeling back towards ear

- you can put a head band on placing under ponytail and across diagonal partings
- bring the front section back over the head band to hide sides
- twist remaining hair to create side bun
Style 9
washed hair
- section two diagonal sections front front part towards back
- twist the hair picking up more hair from the bottom with every twist
- secure at the back of the head and repeat on other side by pushing pins inside the twist
- any hair left hanging will roll up like a sausage and be secured to hide twist
- pull soft piece out if you like
- you can use powder play for fullness or do some back combing through out hair to make it easier to secure
