I have been looking at all the online pictures thinking I would find some amazing styles. I was very disappointed with the hair styles this year and as I was finding pictures I had planned to talk about does and don't and found I would have taken up the whole page on what NOT to do! Very plain hair for such a big and formal event.
I wanted to be positive so the stars I have found I LOVE and did look amazing but found I loved their whole look not just their hair.
I have also gravitated to hair curled to the side but different types of curls. I also found there were not alot of up styles mostly down or to the side. Originality people!!!!!!!
I love this look on Natalie Bassingthwaighte.
Suits her face shape and the colouring of dress with bold lips looks gorgeous.
Kylie Minougue has a similar style to Natalie but softer and more romantic. Her make-up is more soft and romantic also which suits her skin tone.
Danni Minougue definelty has a orgeous style to suit her face shape and give an elegant edge to her shorter hair.
Demi Harman of Home and Away (from what I can see of her hair) seemed to be the only one to do a faux bob/ upstyle. I love this look incorporating waves and is different from all the down styles on show. this style really suited her dress.
Delta always looks stunning with this look. The fullness helps to compliment her oval face shape. As beautiful as she does look a nice low finger waved side style would suit to give fullness to the sides and with out making her nec look too long.
I ABSOLUTLEY LOVE Shelly Craft's dress! She has a beautiful cut concave bob and the sleekness and angle doesn't detract from this stunning gown. Busy hair+busy dress can be overwhelming.
Rhiannon Fish (former Home and Away star) was the most daring having braids!!! LOOK OUT! Like this look on her! Beautiful shade of blush to show off those gorgeous cheeks!
Even though her hair looks lovely it does look the same as she would normally wear it. I do how ever think she was best dressed on the carpet! followed closely by Nat Bas and Shelly!!!!!
So in a nutshell some stunning looks and styles and it is all about matching the gown to the hairstyle but I think if they wanted to stand out from the crowd there are lots of detailed upstyle options out there that could have looked stunning on a red carpet. It is an event you want to stand out and not look the same as you normally do yet be comfortable and suit the dress style and your own fce shape and features.
